Landscapes and Cityscapes
I'm intrigued by the bird's-eye view of our man-made environment and enjoy exploring the almost abstract nature of repetitive patterns created when seeing the landscape from such a perspective.
Animal Art
I'm am interested in the contradiction of connection and disconnection that humans have with the natural world, and the animals we share that world with. I enjoy creating animal artwork with a sort of whimsical realism often placing animals in man-made environments.
Pet Portrait Commissions
I've had the honour of painting the portraits of many much loved companion animals over the years, and am always happy to discuss your ideas for a commissioned piece, whether that's a head shot only or perhaps incorporating your pet's favourite place or toy, or your favourite memory of them.
