To help me make my website a positive place for everyone, I use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.

 

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). I’ve chosen Level AA as the target for my website.

I work hard on my website to achieve my goal of Level AA accessibility. I monitor the site regularly to maintain this, but I know some areas can still be improved.

As an art and illustration website, visual content is at the heart of what I do. I strive to provide descriptive alternative text (alt text) for all my illustrations and artwork so that screen reader users can enjoy and understand the visual themes. If you encounter an image that lacks a description or needs a better one, please let me know.
